The Process:
A stencil is created for screen printing, which is called a screen, and the screen is then used to apply ink to the printing surface. A different screen is used to apply each individual color, one at a time, and these are combined to create the final appearance. The more colors in a design, the more screens will need to be used, and more setup time will be necessary.
The screen printing ink is applied thicker than it is with digital printing, and that results in bright colors - even on dark shirts. For specialty products and designs requiring high vibrancy levels, the best option is screen printing.
